Some weddings begin with a ceremony and end a few hours later. Others become a full weekend experience where family and friends can spend more time together before, during, and after the celebration. At Riverbend Ranch & Retreat, we offer a private wedding weekend experience that brings guests together in one location from Friday through Sunday.
Riverbend Ranch in Normandy, Tennessee offers full weekend wedding buyouts about 45 minutes from Franklin, with 47 beds across four guest houses and two cabins sleeping over 60 guests on 170 acres along the Duck River. The all inclusive package covers two nights of property exclusivity, a day of coordinator, table flower arrangements, and in house fireworks, with the White Barn seating 200 for dinner, riverside and lakeside ceremony sites, and add ons available for bonfires, rehearsal dinners, and firework send offs.
That’s the kind of wedding weekend our venue is built for. Sitting on 170 acres in Normandy, Tennessee, about 45 minutes from Franklin along the Duck River, the property gives couples room for everyone to stay, space to breathe, and a weekend that doesn’t end when the last song plays.
What Makes a Ranch Wedding Weekend Different
A single-day rental is fine for some couples. But more and more, we’re hearing from people who want the wedding to feel like an event, not a handoff. They want Friday night bonfires, Saturday morning coffee on the property, a ceremony that doesn’t feel rushed, and Sunday breakfast before the last hugs goodbye. That’s the shape of a wedding weekend at our venue.
Room for Everyone, All in One Place
We have 47 beds spread across four guest houses and two private cabins, with the capacity to host over 60 guests on the property. The cabins each include a master bedroom with a king bed and a loft with multiple twin XL beds, so families and wedding party members can spread out comfortably without losing the feeling of being together. The guest houses offer a mix of king, queen, and twin XL configurations, including upstairs rooms with bunk options for larger groups.

Keeping guests on the property simplifies the entire weekend. Families, wedding party members, and close friends can stay together without coordinating multiple hotels or transportation plans, creating a more relaxed experience from arrival through departure.
The Spaces and How the Day Flows
The White Barn is our primary reception space, with seating for up to 200 guests around tables, with ample room for a dance floor and buffet. For larger guest lists, the barn accommodates up to 350 in a theater-style arrangement, making it flexible for ceremonies as well. The barn includes a heated and cooled indoor environment, making it a comfortable option throughout the year.
Couples can choose between a riverside ceremony site along the Duck River or a lakeside ceremony site, each surrounded by the property’s natural landscape.

After the ceremony, guests move to the barn for the cocktail hour and dinner. Because everything sits on the same property, transitions are easy and organic, without the dead time that typically comes from venue-to-venue travel.
For smaller celebrations or rehearsal dinners, the Dining Hall seats 60, has a rustic atmosphere, and comes with a prep kitchen and restrooms. It’s a warm, contained space that works especially well for the night before the wedding.
What’s Included and What You Can Build On
Our all-inclusive package covers a full weekend, from Friday through Sunday, with two nights on the property. That includes full property exclusivity, overnight accommodations across the four guest houses and two cabins, tables and chairs, a day-of-wedding coordinator, flower arrangements for tables, and an end-of-night fireworks opportunity. We offer fireworks experiences through our licensed pyrotechnics team, making it easy to include a memorable finale in your celebration.
The base single-day package includes barn access, the bridal cabin, the groom’s space, and tables and chairs.

Add-on options let you customize further. A riverside bonfire the night before the wedding is a favorite, and we provide the wood. You can also add tractor rides, event tear-down service, string lighting, whiskey barrel rentals, and fireworks walk-out packages in standard or deluxe configurations. A rehearsal dinner or additional setup day is available as an add-on as well.
The Property Beyond the Wedding
Between the ceremony and the after-party, there’s a lot of weekend to fill. Guests can fish the stocked ponds for bass, catfish, and bluegill. The Duck River runs through the property and is available for floating, kayaking, and swimming. There’s also axe throwing, open fields for games, and a basketball court.
For groups that want a bonfire, we have a fire pit directly on the river. These activities give guests additional ways to spend time together throughout the weekend, helping create a more complete wedding getaway experience.
Conclusion
A wedding weekend at Riverbend Ranch & Retreat gives couples and guests more time together before, during, and after the celebration. Full property access, onsite lodging, and private event spaces create an experience that extends well beyond the ceremony itself. The result is a private wedding weekend where guests can celebrate, relax, and spend meaningful time together throughout the property.
